Your "Go To" Meal

I thought I'd throw a question out there today:

What is your "go to" meal when you are taking in dinner to someone?

-and/or-

What is your "go to" meal when you are busy and don't have much time to cook?

Please share. I'm looking for some new ideas.

1. I've only done that once, and I stressed about it so bad I figured it was too much for me. I need to get out of that rut.

2. Chicken vegetable stir fry with rice

We make chili a lot. Just use a lot of canned or frozen stuff- chicken, beans, corn, tomatoes, seasonings, etc.- and throw it all in a pot and heat it up!

Apricot chicken (on this blog), rice pilaf, salad & dessert or a baked pasta dish, garlic bread, salad & dessert. I love providing meals for other families because it ensures that my family will be eating something good as well!

Grilled ham and cheese and spiced up tomato soup. Fastest thing ever, and my kids love it. You can make "pizza" soup by sprinkling in garlic salt, dried italian seasonings, and a bit of shredded cheese.

Go To meal when I don't have time is Tuna Biscuit Casserole. Super easy and yummy.
1 pkg refrigerated biscuits
1 can of tuna
1 can cream of celery
1 c. milk
1 T. parsley
1 c. grated cheese
Line the bottom of a greased 9x13 with the biscuits (spread out). Mix the other ingredients except cheese into a sauce. Pour sauce over biscuits and top with cheese. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Mmm.

Go to meal to take to someone is usually lasagna or chicken broccoli casserole because I can split the recipe in two and my family can eat also.
